LemonClear ("the app") is a photo, video, and screenshot cleaning utility for iPhone. Your privacy is the whole point of how it's built. This policy explains, plainly, what the app does and does not do with your data.
LemonClear collects nothing. It has no account, no servers, no ads, and no analytics or tracking. Your photos and all related data never leave your device.
The app asks for access to your photo library so it can show you your photos, videos, and screenshots to review and clean. This access is used solely on your device to display media and to mark, favorite, or delete items at your direction. No photo, video, screenshot, or any copy or thumbnail of them is ever uploaded, transmitted, or shared. The developer cannot see your media.
The app's "Places" feature groups your photos by where they were taken. It reads the location metadata that is already stored inside your own photos by the camera, and it may convert coordinates into a place name using Apple's on-device map services. This all happens locally on your iPhone. Your location and your photos' locations are never sent to the developer or any third party.
The app stores small bits of information on your device only — for example, which items you've already reviewed and your total freed-space count — so the app works smoothly between sessions. This data lives on your device and is removed if you delete the app.
When you delete items, iOS moves them to "Recently Deleted," where they remain for 30 days before being permanently removed, exactly as with Apple's Photos app. The app cannot bypass this.
LemonClear does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
